We use a laboratory urine hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) test. These tests are 99% accurate in testing for pregnancy.
There are a variety of over-the-counter and professional quality pregnancy tests, but we use a highly sensitive test able to detect hCG even at very low levels when pregnancy is in the earliest stages.
After a positive urine pregnancy test, you are eligible for a limited obstetrical ultrasound at no cost.
Traditionally, an ultrasound alone would cost a patient $200-$300 at a women’s clinic or hospital. At Parkgate, these services are absolutely free. Community members care about you and your health, so they have paid it forward for our patients.
Upon medical observation at your appointment, we can give you verification to file for Medicaid.
